Biz is a multifaceted artist and seasoned waterwoman hailing from North Carolina. Her rich background includes a decade of professional sailing experience across the globe, complemented by a 200-ton USCG captain’s license, lifeguard, and rescue diver certifications. Biz excels in facilitation and risk management, having taught expedition sailing to a diverse set of clientele including Fortune 500 executives and military personnel.
In addition to her maritime pursuits, Biz is a dedicated photographer and filmmaker specializing in coastal issues. Her academic background includes a degree in Design & Videography from USC and a Master’s degree from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. As the founder of a boutique production company, she is committed to highlighting community-driven solutions for environmental challenges, seamlessly blending her artistic vision with scientific insight to address the complexities of our changing world.
